Layering is the art of piling up layers of clothing to make your outfit warmer, but above all, more stylish. The overshirt is the perfect garment for this operation. It can be worn as a light jacket, alone or even under a coat. We offer it in two versions: an unbleached overshirt in a thick cotton and linen fabric; a version with small checks woven in a cotton with drawn threads.

A Swann x Athi Editions collaboration

The Swann brand has one of the most beautiful offers of custom-made clothing for men in Paris. Originally specialized in custom made shirts, I did my training there myself since I worked for them for a few years. It was therefore natural for me to ask them to make these overshirts. Among their partners, Swann works with a small Italian workshop that has always impressed me. Located not far from Bergamo, it has a very good quality of production. Despite some typical Italian manufacturing failures… 😅 (I’ll come back to that), their craftsmanship is always impressive and so we had these two overshirts made there.

We made a small stock once again. It is indeed the end of a roll of ecru fabric and a small roll of fabric found in Swann’s workshop. It is also an opportunity to test a new product and as usual, things are done with time for Athi Editions.
If you are interested do not hesitate as there won’t be enough for everyone and in the last edition, the majority of the trousers were gone following Instagram posts.
The cut is just at the shoulders, but straight, that is to say that the waist is not curved like a shirt. So take your usual size. Or size-down if you are between two sizes.
